PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man with a gun was arrested near the Beaverton Transit Center early Wednesday morning.

Beaverton Police say they received calls from citizens who heard shots fired around 4 a.m. near SW Canyon Road and SW Lombard Avenue.

Officers responded and found a man trying to flee the area. He was caught with a loaded firearm magazine on him and a firearm and shell casings were located nearby.
