NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — The Seattle Seahawks and the Tennessee Titans did not participate in the national anthem Sunday, part of a league-wide response to President Donald Trump’s tweets and statements.

The singer of the national anthem at the game also took a knee.

RENTON, Wash. (AP) — Seahawks tight end Jimmy Graham is expected to play Sunday against the Tennessee Titans despite being listed as questionable due to an ankle injury.

Graham was a full participant in practice Friday and head coach Pete Carroll said he’s ready to play.

“He did really well today,” Carroll said. “Made it through the whole practice and did everything. So he’ll be all right.”

Graham injured his left ankle in last week’s game against the San Francisco 49ers when safety Eric Reid tumbled into the back of his legs. After being evaluated on the sidelines, Graham returned to the field and finished the game. He ultimately played 54 of a possible 82 offensive snaps for Seattle.

Graham has just four catches for nine yards on 10 targets through the first two weeks of the season.

Seattle could be without two of its best special teams players against the Titans. Cornerback Neiko Thorpe was ruled out due to an ankle injury and linebacker D.J. Alexander is questionable with a hamstring issue. With a dangerous return man in Adoree Jackson coming up this week, the injuries could prove significant for Seattle.

“Those are two really high-liner guys for us,” Carroll said. “That makes a difference so other guys are going to have to step in, fill in for them. That’s exactly what it calls for.”

Thorpe injured his right ankle when linebacker Michael Wilhoite fell into his legs on kick coverage last week against the 49ers. Alexander practiced Wednesday before his hamstring became sore. Neither player practiced Thursday or Friday.

Linebacker Terence Garvin is also questionable with a shoulder injury. The injury kept him out of last week’s game against the 49ers as well.
