No explosives found at Lake Oswego Junior HS

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Lake Oswego Junior High School was evacuated on Friday morning due to a bomb threat.

The threat was written on a girls bathroom wall and discovered around 9:15 a.m., the Lake Oswego School District tells KOIN 6 News.

Students and staff were immediately evacuated to Upland Elementary School and parents were able to pick up their kids after noon.

Lake Oswego police searched the school and didn’t find any explosives.

School officials said the building will reopen for people to pick up anything left behind.
