3 small earthquakes hit west of Waldport

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The US Geological Survey recorded three earthquake off the Oregon coast Saturday.

The first quake hit at 7:48 a.m. about 25 miles west of Waldport, about 22 miles deep. The second and third happened after noon and were much smaller — 2.7 and 2.5 magnitude.

Tremors were felt along the central Oregon coast.

No reports of damage have yet been reported.
