Parents of boy wandering in SE Portland found

He wandered out of his house while his older relative was sleeping

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Portland police have found the parents of a small child who was found wandering near 9226 SE Division Street early Friday evening.

Police said the boy was with an older relative who was sleeping and wandered out of his home near the area he was found.

Officers were unable to communicate with the boy, who is between 2 and 4 years old and did not appear to speak English.

The boy is in protective custody and will be reunited with his parents.
