Dog stolen from Linn County animal control

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A pit bull was stolen from the Linn County Sheriff’s Office Animal Control building on Saturday, December 10.

The fence leading to a secured area was cut, deputies said. They said the suspect who took the dog got in through the Just Bucket Excavating property, which is next to the animal control building.

Deputies also found a lock that had been cut from a fence leading to the dog kennels and part of the fence on the put bull’s kennel was cut.

The Linn County Sheriff’s Office said the dog was seized by Albany police in August 2016.

This was the second alarm from animal control this week. The first time, nothing was missing.
