HILLSBORO, Ore. (KOIN) — Police are searching for a hit-and-run suspect who slammed into a 75-year-old woman Sunday, leaving her in serious condition.

The woman was hit at 4:50 p.m. on Minter Bridge Road near River Road, Hillsboro Police Dept. said.

She was taken to the hospital with a head injury and possible internal injuries.

The driver fled from the scene in a late 90s Ford F-150 pickup truck that is described as red and white or silver 2-tone with a red canopy, police said. The truck likely has a broken front turn signal as a result of the hit-and-run crash.

Anyone with information on the incident should call 503.681.6175.
