Suspects jailed on attempted murder and weapons charges

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A large house party in Southwest Portland with people in their teens and 20s escalated into gunfire early Saturday, wounding one person and bringing gang investigators to the scene.

Multiple shots rang out in the 200 block of SW Hamilton Street, striking one person — who is expected to recover — and one home, according to Portland Police Bureau.

Anthony Gray, 19, and Quandrae Harris-Streeter, 18, were arrested Sunday morning by gang investigators, police said.

They are both jailed on attempted murder and weapons charges.

About 12 people were at the party, but a neighbor told KOIN 6 News parties are not common at that house or in that neighborhood.
