CORVALLIS, Ore. (KOIN) — An early Friday morning collision between a car and 2 pickups killed a 29-year-old Salem man.
Michael S. Nelson Cedillo was driving a Subaru on Hwy 34 east of Corvallis when he lost control around 6 a.m., the Oregon State Police said. He was broadsided by an oncoming Dodge pickup and then slammed into a Chevy pickup.
Cedillo died at the scene.
The Dodge driver, Christopher Schachtschneider, was taken to a Corvallis hospital but is expected to recover. The Chevy driver, a 69-year-old Salem man, was not hurt.
The Oregon State Police continue to look into the crash.
