PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – The man accused of grabbing an 11-year-old girl has been indicted.
KOIN 6 News has learned that David Karl Nilsson will appear in court Thursday morning to be arraigned on a grand jury indictment that charges him with one count of first-degree sexual abuse.
According to police, Nilsson turned himself into police. The alleged incident happened September 30 when an 11-year-old girl told police that an unknown man followed her and grabbed her buttocks while she was walking home from school.
Nilsson is being held in jail with bail set at $250,000.
Records show that Nilsson lives in the same area where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred.
He has no criminal conviction on his record.
