PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man’s wrists and hands were burned in a Linn County fire on Sunday morning, officials say.
The fire took place shortly after 6 a.m. on 11th Street in Lebanon.
The Lebanon Fire Department said a duplex caught fire, and the flames were heavy when they arrived.
Three residents fled through the front of the duplex and were uninjured.
One man received minor burns to his hands and wrists when he touched a “superheated” interior wall.
Fire officials said they don’t know if the duplex had a working smoke detector.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
