TOLEDO, Ore. (KOIN) — A 2-car crash on SR-20 left one young woman dead and 3 other young people injured early Friday night.

Angelica Kenny was driving a 1995 Buick on Pioneer Trail, but did not stop for oncoming traffic when she turned onto SR-20, the Oregon State Police said. Her car was hit by oncoming 1993 Jeep Cherokee.

The impact killed Kenny. The 22-year-old was from Toledo.

Her passenger, 24-year-old Evan Wixted from Toledo, was rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery on his injuries. The 17-year-olds in the Jeep, both from Philomath, were treated at a hospital and released.

The investigation into the crash continues.
