PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Jamaine Laray Oliver Jr. will be arraigned Tuesday on a grand jury indictment that charges him with murder.
According to court records, the indictment was filed Monday against the 18-year-old accused killer.
Detectives assigned to the Gresham Police Department arrested Oliver in late October.
Police officers responded to reports of a shooting at Northeast 162nd Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street on October 27. They found 19-year-old Christopher Moss on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound when they arrived.
Moss was taken to the hospital but he died.
According to court documents, there was an altercation between Moss and Oliver after a separate robbery allegation that involved three minors.
Oliver has no adult criminal convictions, but has been previously arrested as a juvenile.
