PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man said to have a gun allegedly threatened a woman in a Portland State University library Monday night, police said.
The library was cleared after multiple people said the young woman was threatened by the man. Police said the crime is considered a stranger-on-stranger assault.
The woman was visibly traumatized but was not injured, according to police.
No gun was seen during the incident.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20s wearing a black beanie, black pants and shoes with white heels or soles.
Officers said the library was back open around 7:50 p.m.
