Man with gun robs Lucky Dog Deli in Raleigh Hills

PORTLAND, Ore. (PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — Washington County Sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who robbed a business in the Raleigh Hill’s aera Saturday afternoon.

According to the Washington Sheriff’s Office, at 6:45 p.m. on Nov. 5, deputies responded to the report of a robbery at the Lucky Dog Deli at 4714 SW Scholls Ferry Road. When they arrived, the deputies were told that a man the 26 year-old male clerk at gunpoint.

The man came into the business and walked quickly towards the clerk who was behind the counter. The clerk told deputies the man had a handgun and demanded the cash in the register. The clerk gave the man a small amount of cash and the man fled on foot. The clerk was not harmed.

Deputies searched the area with the assistance of a Sheriff’s Office K9 with no success. There is the possibility a vehicle was used to flee the area. Investigators are reviewing surveillance video and other evidence.

The suspect is described as a Latino male in his late 20s with a medium build. He was reported to have a purple bandana over his face. He was reportedly wearing a black hoody sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
