PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Police say three separate shootings happened overnight Friday.

Officials say the first was on NE Killingsworth Street and Columbia Parkway. 911 callers reported seeing people in two cars shooting at each other. A caller reported that one of the cars crashed but continued to drive and flee on flat tires.

Police arrived on scene and found an uninvolved driver, whose car had been hit by one of the feeling cars. The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say that the involved cars were a small red SUV and a black Nissan Altima. Police found an abandoned Altima at NE 92nd Avenue and Alberta Street with front end damage and bullet holes.

Later, around 1 a.m., officers responded to NE 18th Avenue and between Alberta and Sumner Streets. An Uber driver reported that his car had been hit with gunfire. He was not injured and officials say he was likely not the intended target. The suspect in that shooting is described as a black man in his 20’s wearing a red sweatshirt.

Next, around 2 a.m., police say they responded to another shooting at NE 102nd Avenue and Sandy Blvd. They received reports of gunfire and cars fleeing the area. They investigated but couldn’t find any witnesses.
