PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Detectives with the Portland Police Bureau have arrested 2 people linked to the theft of 4 separate Ford Mustangs.

Duane Schance and Cassandra Minor have been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police learned that the 4 Mustangs were stolen on 2 separate dates during August from the Auto Warehousing Company. Minor, records show, was an employee at that company at the time and showed Schance the vehicles on the lot.

One of the Mustangs was crashed in Clackamas County and officers determined Schance was driving the vehicle. Video from early September shows Schance and Minor inside a separate Mustang, according to court documents.

When Schance was taken into custody, he reportedly called Minor and told her to delete everything from her phone regarding the cars, court documents state.

In late October, 2 Hyundai vehicles were stolen from Auto Warehousing and Schance was linked to the case, records show.

He is charged with a total of 6 counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

Schance appeared in court on Wednesday.

Minor’s next court date has not been set.
