PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson will speak in Portland on Thursday night.

Johnson is set to appear at the Benson Hotel on Southwest Broadway at 6 p.m.

The Libertarian candidate will be in the Mayfair Ballroom, and doors open at 5 p.m.

This visit comes after other Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein visited Portland on October 23.

Johnson has consistently polled in third place nationally behind Republican Donald Trump, Democrat Hillary Clinton. His platform calls for term limits, tax reform and perhaps most notably legalization of marijuana at the federal level.

The Libertarian candidate previously served two terms as the governor of New Mexico.
