PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Three people were injured in 2 separate shootings in Northeast Portland Thursday night, police said.

The first shooting happened around 9:40 p.m. at Holladay Park, according to Portland Police Bureau. Officers arrived and found a man with a gunshot wound.

He was reportedly taken to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The second shooting happened at NE 21st Avenue and Weidler Street at 9:48 p.m., police said. Officers called to that scene found a woman who had been shot and a man who was also hit a few blocks away. Both sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are working to determine if the shootings are connected.
