PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A man wanted in connection with a Milwaukie murder case has been arrested in Oklahoma, deputies say.

At 10 p.m. on Saturday, Dean Boettcher was arrested by the Pauls Valley Police Department with help from other law enforcement agencies, according to the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

Boettcher has now been booked into the Garvin County Jail on an Oregon murder warrant issued last week, authorities said.

Detectives from the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office are on their way to Oklahoma to continue the investigation.

The murder warrant was issued for Boettcher last week after Matthew Nelson Timmons, 50, was found dead at his home in the 17000 block of SE Oatfield Road, according to authorities.

Officials initially said they were looking for Boettcher and a woman in connection with the case. They located the woman last week and said she was no longer considered a person of interest.
