PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — An 18-year-old man was arrested on Thursday night after causing a serious car crashed that injured another driver.

Portland Police say Joshua McFelt was drunk and speeding when he t-boned another car on SE Division Street at SE 148th Avenue around 11 p.m.

The other driver was seriously injured and had to be extricated from his 2004 Honda Accord.

Both men were taken to the hospital. McFelt was not seriously injured. The other driver is expected to recover.

McFelt was charged with assault in the second degree, DUII, reckless driving and recklessly endangering another person.
