PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Thirteen months after a 20-year-old woman was killed and several others were injured in a 7-car crash on TV Hwy, a California man pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide.

Kerry Jay Wagner was sentenced to just about 1 year in the Washington County Jail and had his driving license revoked for the rest of his life.

On September 1, 2015, Cassandra Stolzenberger of Hillsboro was a passenger in a Honda Civic involved in the crash. The 2013 graduated of Century High School died at the scene.

A tan truck pulling a trailer rear-ended a car, causing the deadly chain reaction.

Four of the people involved in the crash sustained very serious injuries. Three others were injured.

Wagner, the 46-year-old driver from Oceana, California, entered his plea on October 18.
