PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Washington County Sheriff’s Office K9 went missing on Wednesday night and was found by a neighbor on Thursday morning.

The K9 named Radar responded to a call to assist a North Plains police officer who was chasing a suspect in a wooded area on NW Green Mountain Road.

During the search for the suspect, Radar’s leash got tangled in brush so his handler unhooked him to untangle him. He bolted into the woods.
