PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI) is hosting a zombie apocalypse survival class at its Portland store on Wednesday.

The free class will start at 6:30 p.m. and last for 90 minutes. REI is at 1405 NW Johnson St.

Those who attend will learn what to do in the event of an outbreak that turns the local Portland population into members of the undead.

Instructors will teach survival techniques that’ll also be invaluable in the event of any sort of natural disaster in an urban environment.

As of 2 p.m. on Tuesday, the class was full, but those interested in attending can sign a waiting list to be notified if a spot becomes available.
