PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Organizers have begun a Kickstarter campaign to put the Portland International Airport carpet design on an Oregon license plate.

The license plates read, “Keep Portland Weird.”

Organizers will need to pre-sell at least 3,000 plates.

The Regional Arts and Culture Council, nonprofit organizations and the Oregon Music Hall of Fame will benefit from plate sales.
