2 seriously hurt in Hwy 30 head-on collision

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two people were seriously injured in a head-on collision along Highway 30, the Columbia River Fire Department said.

The crash happened Monday afternoon near milepost 37.5. Emergency responders had to use special tools to remove one of the patients.

The road was closed for a short time but re-opened before 4 p.m. The Oregon State Police is investigating.
