PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The wet roads caused difficult driving conditions on Friday morning.

In Lake Oswego, a teen driver’s car rolled and hit house. Officials didn’t say whether the crash was weather related, however, many roads in the area had standing water and were slippery.

In NE Portland, a car smashed into a parked van in the Kerns neighborhood.

Power outages were widespread as well, with thousands without power in some parts of the state. Check here for Portland General Electric outages.

State parks may close due to weather. Check here before you leave the house if you’re headed to one.

Authorities cautioned drivers to take it slow as downpours were expected throughout the day.

A stronger storm was expected to hit the state on Saturday.
