Vancouver man ejected, dies in crash near Roseburg

A 34-year-old woman, also from Vancouver, was driving

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Vancouver man was killed in a crash near Roseburg on Wednesday morning.

Oregon State Police say 36-year-old Edgar Rangle Rivera was a passenger in a car driver by a 34-year-old woman also from Vancouver. They were traveling on I-5 near milepost 117 when the car drifted onto the shoulder and lost control. It rolled several times and the man was ejected from the car and died.

The driver and two young passengers were taken to a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Officials say Rivera was not wearing a seat belt.
