PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Marion County Grand Jury found the shooting of 20-year-old Anthony Brown justified on October 7.

Brown was shot and killed on August 1 during a home burglary. Investigators learned 19-year-old Carlos Texidor was home when Brown attacked him with a rifle. Texidor defended himself by shooting Brown.

Six witnesses testified and the evidence indicated that the situation did call for use of deadly force because Brown was attempting to commit a burglary, physical violence and deadly force against Texidor in his home.
