Shots fired at Roseland Theater, no known victims

Police say the venue was cleared and there are no victims.

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Shots were fired at the Roseland Theater Thursday night.

Portland police arrived to determine if there was an active shooter and evacuated the venue. They confirmed that gunfire did take place inside the theater.

Police said several known gang associates were at the theater, where rapper The Game was performing as part of the “1992 Block Wars Tour.”

There are no known victims but initial reports claim there may have been a victim that left the scene before police arrived. Portland police said no gunshot victims have arrived at any area hospitals.

The Roseland Theater is on NW 6th Ave and has a capacity for more than 1,400 people.

Police will be investigating the incident.
