PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The crowd lined up early for Bruce Springsteen in Portland even though he’s not playing.
The Boss came to Powell’s to sign copies of his just-released memoir, “Born to Run.”
The book signing tour began shortly after he and the E Street Band wrapped up a 75-show music tour in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
The 9-stop book tour will also stop in New York; Philadelphia; Seattle; Los Angeles; San Francisco; and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
In the book, Springsteen remembers his childhood in New Jersey, his rise to superstardom and personal struggles that inspired songs such as “Born to Run” and “Thunder Road.”
