PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Two victims in Salem were robbed in separate incidents on Saturday evening and Sunday morning where they met buyers for an online purchase.

The Salem Police Department said the victims listed items for sale online, and when they went to meet the buyers, they were robbed by two men.

The suspects asked their victims to meet them at a parking lot in the 2700 block of Lancaster Drive Northeast. When they arrived, the suspects pulled out handguns and stole the property that was for sale.

Shots were fired during the second robbery, which took place around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday. No injuries were reported from either incident.

Both suspects ran away from the meeting place after robbing their victims. No vehicles were seen or heard leaving the area, police said.
