NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The man at the center of the Netflix documentary “Making a Murderer” will appear on the “Dr. Phil” show this week via phone.

On Monday, Steven Avery will discuss everything from his nephew having his conviction overturned to his fiancee, who will also be interviewed for the show.

The interviews will air over two days on Monday, Oct. 3 and Tuesday, Oct. 4. You can watch both episodes on KOIN 6 News at 3 p.m.

Avery was convicted for killing photographer Teresa Halbach in 2007.

He is currently serving a life sentence at the Waupun Correctional Institute in Wisconsin. His case drew national attention after Netflix released a documentary about the murder.
