Woman crashes car into Beaverton apartment building

No one was injured

BEAVERTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was arrested for reckless driving after crashing her Cadillac into an apartment building in Beaverton Friday.

A Beaverton Police officer saw a driver speeding south on Hall Blvd. and turned around to try to catch up. He drove by the crashed car and realized it was the same one he had been pursuing.

The driver, Alaina Ferquist, now faces reckless driving and DUII charges.

The car was partially driven into the apartment building, but no one was injured.

Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue responded to the crash but said the car did not catch fire.
