PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Fred Quillan, who starred at Central Catholic and the University of Oregon before playing with the San Francisco 49ers died Monday, the team announced.
Quillan, a 2-time Super Bowl champion with the 49ers, was 60. He played 10 years in the NFL as a center, all with San Francisco. He played in 143 games plus 11 more in the playoffs.
In 1976, Quillan was named an All-West Coast center with the Ducks.
Details of his death were not immediately available.
