PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 29-year-old man accused of shooting a man in the parking lot of a Southeast Portland restaurant was arrested days later, police said.
The shooting happened September 5 outside Lucky Corner Restaurant on SE Powell Boulevard, Portland Police Bureau said.
The victim sustained traumatic injuries and his current condition is unknown.
Witnesses on the scene said the suspect, described as a Hispanic or Asian Man in his 20s, drove off in a black SUV with chrome wheels and a gold trim, police said.
Officers with PPB’s Gang Enforcement Team arrested Hai Tu Duong in Northeast Portland 2 days later for a parole violation.
On Thursday, detectives also charged Duong with attempted murder, first-degree assault, unlawful use of a weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the drive-by shooting.
