SUNRIVER, Ore. (KOIN) — An approximately 360 acre forest fire is burning near Sunriver.

The Deschutes Co. Sheriff’s Office doesn’t know what caused the fire that has Fall River Estates and the Fall River Fish Hatchery on a level 1 evacuation notice.

The fire is moving southeast and several roads are closed. Deputies are asking people to stay away from the area.

Central Oregon fire says the fire is slowing down with cooler temperatures as of about 8 p.m. Wednesday.
