BEND, Ore. (KOIN) — Five people had to be pulled out of an SUV after it rolled multiple times on Hwy 20 east of Bend very early Saturday morning.
The crash happened just before 1 a.m. when a southbound Isuzu on Powell Butte Highway blew through a stop sign at Hwy 20, the Oregon State Police said. The driver of the Isuzu SUV, Shawn W. Seagraves Hall, somehow lost control, left the road and the SUV rolled.
Emergency responders pulled 5 people out of the Isuzu and rushed them to the hospital. OSP said they suffered “minor to serious” injuries.
Hall, a 23-year-old from Redmond, now faces DUII, reckless driving, reckless endangering and 2nd-degree assault charges.
The investigation continues.
