PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — One person died in a collision between 2 pickups in Northeast Portland Friday morning that affected traffic heading to PDX.
Investigators said a 38-year-old woman driving a Toyota pickup ran a red light at the intersection of NE 82nd and Webster that splits toward the airport. Her pickup hit a Chevy pickup driven by James Loren Duston. The 69-year-old Portland resident died at the scene.
The Toyota driver was cooperative and displayed no signs of impairment, police said. No charges have yet been filed, though the investigation continues.
