Ex-PPS worker arrested for sex abuse of young girl

Brent Chrsity-Hamilton faces 2 charges of first-degree sexual abuse

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A Portland man who formerly worked as a paraeducator at Whitman Elementary School has been arrested for sexual abuse.

Brent Christy-Hamilton was arrested on July 15, 2016 on 2 charges of sexual abuse in the first degree. According to Multnomah County court documents, the alleged abuse occurred in November 2015.

According to Portland Police, the victim was a 7-year-old student at the school.

Christy-Hamilton previously worked at Marysville School, where he was hired full time in 2009. He was placed on administrative leave in November 2015.
