It’s a wet start to Friday. Expect occasional showers through the afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler than Thursday around the metro. Expect highs in the low-40s around Portland and Vancouver. Gusty east wind has returned near the gorge. The central/south valley will continue to see milder temps with highs in the upper 40s and low 50s.
The Columbia River Gorge is under another a Winter Weather Advisory until 6pm Sunday. Expect light snow at times with totals between 1″ and 2″ Friday. The best chance for accumulating snow is east of Cascade Locks.
It’ll be wet and breezy at times over the weekend with valley rain and mountain snow above 2,000′. By Sunday, we could have 10″-15″ of new snow on the slopes.
Showers wrap up Monday, and a nice dry stretch arrives. Expect cold mornings (in the 20s) with areas of fog. By afternoon, we’ll enjoy sunshine. High temperatures will be in the Our first dry/mild stretch in a while arrives next Monday.
