Burger King in Albany destroyed by fire

All employees and customers got out safely

ALBANY, Ore. (KOIN) — The Burger King on SE Geary St. in Albany caught fire Saturday morning.

The Albany Fire Department arrived to find the fire fully involved. All employees and customers got out of the building safely, and one employee was treated for injuries at the scene.

Tangent Fire and Lebanon Fire teams were called to help put the fire out.

Geary St. at 14th Ave was closed and will likely remain closed for the afternoon while the investigation continues.
