Blazers sign Festus Ezeli from Warriors

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Blazers signed free agent center Festus Ezeli from the Golden State Warriors and introduced him at a press conference Friday morning.

Ezeli agreed to a 2-year deal worth $15.2 million, ESPN said.

The 6-foot-11, 265-pounder averaged 7.0 points. 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 blocks with the Warriors last season and was a member of their 2015 NBA championship team.

Earlier, the Blazers signed free agents Evan Turner and Jake Layman and acquired guard Shabazz Napier in a trade with the Orlando Magic.
