Bystanders help deputy pull driver out of burning car

The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on SR-503 just north of 149th Street

CLARK CO., Wash. (KOIN) — Three people were injured in a 3-car crash Tuesday evening on SR-503 in Clark County, fire officials said.

The crash happened around 5:40 p.m. on SR-503 just north of 149th Street.

Bystanders helped a local sheriff’s deputy pull one of the victims out of a burning car before it became engulfed in flames, according to Clark County Fire District #3.

Two people involved in the crash were sent to the hospital for treatment.

The extent of their injuries is unknown.
