PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A driver was stuck inside a semi truck on Tuesday morning because a power line fell on its trailer after being struck by a car on Halsey at 183rd.

The car that crashed into the poll had been speeding, Gresham Police say, and had four people inside. All four were taken to the hospital. Only one of them had serious injuries.

The driver of the semi truck was uninjured but trapped for three hours while Portland General Electric turned off power so crews could reach him.

Halsey Street from 181st Avenue to 186th Avenue will be closed in both directions as well as 183rd Avenue from Halsey Street to Wasco Street.
