One hurt, 3 dogs rescued in mobile home fire

One person was treated for smoke inhalation

WASHOUGAL, Wash. (KOIN) — Fire crews rescued 3 dogs and one person from a mobile home trailer in Washougal Tuesday evening.

Camas-Washougal Fire Department crews got the call around 7:40 p.m. and found fire and smoke coming from inside the mobile home and the covered porch.

Paramedics treated one person for smoke inhalation, who was then taken to the hospital.

The 3 dogs were rescued and returned to the homeowners.

Investigators believe the fire may have started in a barbecue that the homeowner was using on the porch.
