PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Thousands of dollars of stolen bikes and bike parts were found at a Southeast Portland homeless camp Tuesday.

Portland Police went to the camp at SE 5th Ave. and SE Ivon St. to arrest 39-year-old Wesley Ferron. They had evidence that suggested he was dealing heroin and meth.

Police say they found heroin, meth, oxycodone, marijuana plants and drug paraphernalia at Ferron’s camp. They also found between $5,000 and $6,000 worth of stolen bicycles and bike frames and $1,200 in cash.

Officers say they will work to locate the owners of the stolen bikes.

Ferron faces several drug charges and a charge of failing to register as a sex offender.
