PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — The Portland Bureau of Transportation has begun to install new parking meters in the city’s Central Eastside Industrial District.

The 29 new meters will be installed on E. Burnside, NE Grand, NE MLK and SE 6th. The meters were approved in 2012 under a plan between PBOT, business owners and neighborhood leaders.
