Stabbing, crash leads to domestic violence arrest

24-year-old Heather Richardson was arrested for domestic violence, coercion and reckless driving

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A woman was arrested for domestic violence after a car crash on Rivergate Blvd. Saturday.

Early investigation revealed that 24-year-old Heather Richardson and a man had a dispute at a nearby hotel which led to the man being stabbed. Both people left in the car, according to Portland Police.

Richardson was driving recklessly and eventually crashed. She was arrested for 2 counts of domestic violence assault IV, coercion and reckless driving.

The man was taken to the hospital with a non life-threatening injury.

Police said this is the third serious incident involving domestic violence in less than a week.
