ARLINGTON, Ore. (KOIN) — A Canadian motorcyclist lost control on a curve along Highway 19 and died after being hit by an oncoming Dodge truck Wednesday afternoon.

Darcy Dutertre lost control on a sharp right hand curve and laid his bike over, Oregon State Police investigators said. The 49-year-old from Edmonton, Alberta was hit by a service truck headed south and died at the scene.
